Trillium Show

The Trillium Alpaca Show was on Sat. and of course it was raining. You had to walk your animals across from building to the arena through the rain, I just tried to run through the rain with them. First up was Lola and she took 3rd, so I was happy with her. (I'm keeping in mind that that class was really, really tough) This was a full fleece event so after they won anything less than 2nd they got sheared. So Lola was sheared and she screamed like the shearer's were killing her. Then McCoy went in and took 2nd (behind the Reserve Grand Champ) I was super happy. Callaway took 2nd behind a previous Reserve Grand Champion at the CNASF West and the judge really liked Call. Lyric took 2nd behind the one who beat her before (She said the one who beat her was the one to beat and that she would have loved to see Lyric dry) again behind the Reserve Grand Champ. This was a very close high quality class and the only of the day the judge invited the audience to come and look. Then our Deefender who took 1st then Grand Champ Fawn and finally Best In Show again for the 3rd time. All were sheared after and now it has turned cold (figures). They are shivering. All in all it was a great show.
