Huacaya Alpacas

Welcome the very first cria born from our handsome multi Champion Wanted Man son Nefarious. Their little girl was born running. Her mom is our tried and true producer Melia. She is a gorgeous fawn colour with incredible bone and a lovely head. We are thrilled to get a coloured girl from Melia and can’t wait to see how she matures.She is identical to her mother Melia, huge bone, gorgeous head and great staple length, she had the heaviest cria fleece at shearing this year. She is an incredible replacement for her dam in our foundation herd

What can I say, the only girl born this year and she is beautiful. We waited so long for this combination and she gifted me with this stunning light fawn girl. We are in love. The Striker kids this year are all very very similar in looks and fiber characteristics. It’s easy to look at the crias this year and tell which ones or out of Striker. And they all have Striker’s personality, friendly, sweet easy to work with, just a joy to have on the farm. Meribel is growing fast and is shiny, dense, with incredible handle.

Another gorgeous grey male from our Argo daughter Arriba Winona and Splash. Last year we bred this combo and were so thrilled with Shockwave we repeated it immediately. Smoke is an almost exact replica of his older brother except a different shade of grey. We are thrilled with this man

Prophet is Prophecy’s first cria and she knocked it out of the park with this one. This boy has been incredible from day one. He is a perfect box, gorgeous shiny curls and that head, he is going to be stunning. Almost identical to Winona‘s Strikers boy, so much so I had to mark one of them to know who was who. A first in 19 years of breeding. As they age I can see slight differences in looks and personality. With a maternal side of his pedigree that includes many champion blacks, Prophet is going to be one to watch in the future. Prophets fleece is fine, dense with shine and an incredible buttery handle that Striker has added to all his offspring this year.

Twinlee is now bred to Gangsters Chizel for a 2027 cria. Her uniformity and his gorgeous crimp style should line up nicely. Twinlee is a rich brown with black points and an incredibly endearing personality. She has a stacked pedigree, full of colour and champions. Her dam Qinnlee has long been one of my favourites, a beautiful female with that unmistakable Kung Pao head style. Her sire Mafasa is a supreme champion, winning on his true to type conformation and extreme uniformity. Snowmass Matrix, Kung Pao, Victor Vaccoya and Eclipe Alyst just to name a few of the headliners in her genetics. First time in the show ring and Twinlee takes a first place, we are so thrilled for this sweet girl

A stunning young female from Smokin Gun, Significant checks a lot of boxes when we were looking for a new foundation female. Conformationally she is upright, well grown for her age, beautiful lines and a very pretty head. Now look at her fleece, she is packing a ton of it on her frame. It is long and uniform, soft and very even throughout. We hand picked Significant to be bred to Striker, this is going to be an incredible combination

At 15 years of age and 10 babies we have retired Melia from our breeding program. She has been monumental in our herd development and she now gets to relax and take on the role of lawn ornament and grandmother. We love her so much SHE DID IT AGAIN.....SUPREME HUACAYA, at the Canadian Eastern Futurity..... Melia is spectacular. She is covered from head to toe in curls, she is super dense and has great fineness and handle. I though Lyric was nice! She has blown me away with her boxy little frame, perfect conformation and AMAZING fleece. We are very proud of Shamroc and we are excited to see how her fleece progresses as she matures. AND she will DEFINITELY be in our 2012 show string. Melia's micron count came in and WOW!!!! She's just as nice as her sister! With an amazing micron of 15.8 4.2 26.3 and a CF of 99.0 and a Curve of 44.5. Melia won SUPREME FEMALE at the 2012 Navan Fair with judge Kevin O'Leary. We are very impressed with our Sham girl and she WON'T be going anywhere anytime soon! AND AGAIN! Melia took Supreme Huacaya at the Canadian Eastern Futurity. We can't believe our little girl has gone so far, and it makes us so so happy to own this amazing little gem. YES! IT HAS HAPPENED! MELIA HAS DELIVERED HER RESOLUTE BABY AND NEEDLESS TO SAY WE ARE AWE-STRUCK BY THIS ABSOLUTELY STUNNING LITTLE GIRL! That's right you heard me, Melia gave us an absolutely adorable and spectacular little white girl named fittingly of Marina. Here at Averegan, we don't breed for white, HOWEVER, little Marina has certainly fit her way into our program by her immense amount of curly's and a phenotype that follows her mom to a T. She is a farm favourite by far and is immediately noticed out in the field not only for her colour but by the coverage, crimp and beautiful frame she possesses. Needless to say we are definitely impressed and happy with Melia and Marina. Watch for this little gem in showrings everywhere, we're hoping she'll follow in her moms footsteps. 2018 another girl! The fiber on this little sweetheart is unbelievable, sheared at a month old and now in Jan she looks like a bear, she is so covered in superfine fleece. 2019 Melia delivers a gorgeous fawn male out of Thunderjam. this little man is the spitting image of Melia when she was a cria. She has been rebred to MFI &TNT Peruvian Foundation for 2020. this is one exciting match. 2020 Melia has delivered a STUNNING fawn male out of Foundation and we couldn’t be more thrilled, he is incredible looking and the shine he has even in this dry summer is off the charts She has been rebreed to our Resolute son Kash for a 2021 cria 2021 another gorgeous female, from Kash, white, adorable and sweet as anything I’m in love with her already

A picture perfect girl from the coveted Birchleaf Zena X Foundation cross. The last in the line, we are thrilled to be able to add her to our Foundation Females. Full sister to some great producers or multiple champions and supremes. She is bred to Supreme Champion Sunnyhill’s KP’s Max Factor for her first cria. Looking forward to a long breeding career with many champions in her future. Zeniyah gives birth to a gorgeous Max Factor female.

He just keeps getting better and better. Just looked his fleece over Christmas WOW!!! You can just see the density on this boy. Chizel will be showing this Spring at the April Alpaca Ontario Show. UPDATE! Chizel took a second in a very competitive Fawn Class. The judges comments were that he was extremely fine and uniform throughout. He is holding his stats, producing pounds of fleece and remaining incredible clean, a testament to his uniformity. Looking forward to shearing him. He is so dense and is already finding it quite warm. Colour tested ee a1a1 a fully diluted black!!! Chizel was born with a “look at me” presence. A stunning looking male with extreme brightness, uniformity and a beautiful golden colour. Knowing the prepotency of a high quality dam we were thrilled to be able to purchase an offspring from one of KJ’s top tier producers Karizma. She has been knocking it out of the park for many years producing Champion offspring such as Kane, Shiraz and Dash. She has held firm as one of KJ’s top production females, who you will probably never see on the sales list. Tons of colour in this pedigree and a long line of Champions makes this unrelated male and incredibly exciting asset to the Averegan herd. With a second year micron of 19 and his 12 year old sire Gangster holding at 22.5 microns we expect Chizel to stay fine for most of his life. We are expecting a couple Chizel crias in 2026. Chizel is a great breeder one of the easiest young males we have ever started All the females we have bred to Chizel are confirmed pregnant. Looking forward to those crias in 2026 Maybe some blacks ??

An absolutely adorable male from Winona and Striker. Waverunner is boxy, with a gorgeous head style and buttery soft curls. His is Winona’s best cria yet and she has made champions, so that says a lot. We are looking forward to getting him in the show ring, but until then we will enjoy his curious personality and look at me charm.

This is a special one. The last cria of 2025 and the last Valkyrie cria. It is bittersweet to look at this boy. We love everything about him, his look, conformation, head style, colour and the amount of fleece he has already. Krush made me wait for him, but I forgive her, he is lovely. There are a lot of great names in this pedigree, Conopa, Xanadu P. Resolute ,Velvet Touche and Red Granites Pallaton to name a few. His fleece is fine, with incredible density and gorgeous shine. He is developing an incredible head style and had a lovely hand to his fleece

Supreme Champion, Coloured Kung Pao Son!!! A second for Striker in Get of Sire, behind Ariya’s One of a Kind. What a huge accomplishment, we are so proud of what Striker is bringing to our herd. Check out the 2025 cria crop, he is producing gorgeous framed crias with beautiful head styles and the shine is just wow. They are all extremely similar, he is definitely stamping himself on these kids We are expecting first crias from Striker this Spring 2024 There are only a few Kung Pao sons in the world and only a couple of them are coloured. Striker shows the quality in good bloodlines. A real opportunity to add something special to your herd. He is third generation Supreme, his dam Merida was unbeatable when we showed her winning multiple supremes in her show career. And Striker’s Grandfather Scotty Bar was also a Supreme. Supreme Champion Fleece at the Navan Fleece Show scoring 89.5 points!!! We are just thrilled with Striker, and can’t wait to see his offspring next year. What can I say about this man other than wow!!! It is always a tough decision to pack up your best female and send her halfway across the country to be bred. But sometimes you just have to take a chance. Kung Pao was a beautiful matchup for Merida. Striker is proof of that. At a young age he has excellent confirmation, has an incredible silky soft handle to his fleece and the shine is outstanding. Nev’s second fleece is nicer than her first, the length, style and shine is exactly what we are breeding for. Now that she is approaching her second birthday we will be choosing the perfect male for her. A stunning female from Lexus and Nef. Lexus always gives us gorgeous show quality offspring and this one is another top notch girl. She is growing fast and her fleece has blinding shine, incredible character already and density that we expect from the Conopa line. Her sire Nef bring Jumanji genetics with Snowmass Matrix to lock in fineness and uniformity. Nev has received a second place in a very competitive Fawn class at the AO Spring Show, and two first place ribbons in halter and walking fleece this past fall at the Rockton show.

Sprints first offspring Meribel out of our Supreme Herdsire Striker is more than we could have hoped with this pairing. She is stunning and her fleece might be the best we have ever produced. This year Sprint is bred to 3x Supreme Champion and Oblivian grandsons Royalty Fortune. Very excited to see the results of this pairing. Finally an Aftershock daughter is added to the foundation herd. We bred our Brown Gold Legend daughter Mirage to our new herdsire Resolute and we never thought in a million years it would be black, hence the name Aftershock. Black dense, fine, shiny and gorgeous crimp. We sold him to our good friends at Sunnyhill when he was a yearling. He went in to be a multiple champion in halter and fleece and has been an incredible producer, making champion crias in all colours from white to black. Sprint’s dam is a Snowmass female with Best Man and Elite Legend in her pedigree. Sprint is such an exciting combination of two incredibly stacked pedigrees, her offspring are bound to be next level Sprints first show and she brings home Reserve Champion. Velvet Krush is a gorgeous well put together female. An impressive pedigree of who’s who, she boast names like Snowmass Matrix, Red Granites Pallaton, and Snowmass Velvet Touché. Her sire Red Granites Pallaton was exported to Poland, making this a very limited bloodline. She has a beautiful crimp style, immense density and extreme uniformity. All these characteristics has earned her multiple championships and a Best in show in her short show career. Her dam at 5 years of age was still 22 Microns and her Sire Pallaton was 21 Microns so we would expect Krush to also remain fine as she ages. Krush caught on her first breeding as a maiden and delivered a gorgeous brown male from our late herd sire Valkyrie. He is shiny and dense, and is slowly developing a beautiful crimp style, very similar to hers. He will be making his show career debut this April at the Alpaca Ontario Spring Show This time around we bred her to our Supreme Champion Kung Pao son Striker. Striker’s 2025 crias are outstanding, I am over the moon with their quality and good looks. This is going to be a great combo with Krush

Zoey is a stunning looking Bay Black female from Aftershocks Blackmail who now resides in the USA. I mean look at that face!!! Owned by my niece Arielle, Zoey is going to be the perfect production female. He conformation and head style are just about as perfect as you can get. Add to that frame incredible staple length and extreme fineness, she has a bright future ahead of her. Her dam Kokomo Alyst is #1 in EPD’s for Micron and Spin Fineness for 6 years in a row.
