KJ Legend's Mirage

Introducing KJ Legend's Mirage. She is the first Gold Legend baby born in Canada and if she is any indication of what Legend's genetics can bring to the table, all I can say is WOW. She came into the world at 26.5 pounds and has continued to grow into a solid, strong sturdy girl. Her fleece is already 6 inches long at 6 months of age and opens up into a bright, rich cinnamon colour, that is soft with density and a high frequency crimp style that very closely matches her Champion dad. Legend is from the Snowmass line and her dam Shazzy is an incredible dark chocolate female who has been producing champion offspring since she started her breeding career. With fleece like hers, we need not say any more! She is absolutely gorgeous, and has matured into a fine female, definitely being kept in our foundation herd.

Like her paternal sister Memphis, Mirage is in the top 1% EPD 2015 for FW. Third year in a row!

Mirage's son Aftershock has been on the show circuit in western Canada, and is unbeatable! He holds 7 Championships getting consistent comments of being incredibly fine and consistent with a very attractive thick frame. After her Grayson cria this year Mirage will be bred back to Resolute in hopes of getting another Aftershock.

He's here! Getting another boy was disappointing, but he popped out silver grey, Mirage was forgiven. Incredibly thick bone, beautiful phenotype and growing like a weed, we couldn't have been happier with this little stud. Mirage has proven herself time and time again in throwing awesome and surprising colours.

She was getting late in the season to be birthing so we gave her half a year off and moved her to the spring schedule. She is rebred to Resolute for 2017
