Misty Water's Chipper
|
Chipper is a stunning male who started his breeding career in 2007 at the age of 2. This handsome, light fawn male has incredible fleece which has won him ribbons and banners for the last three years. Chipper's fleece is fine, dense, very bright and has excellent crimp throughout. Chipper has strong colour genetics and his mild nature makes him a pleasure to handle. In 2008 Chipper's first crias hit the ground and we have been pleased with everyone of them. At the A.O show in Orangeville Rocky of Black Ash placed 2nd in the Juvenile Male Light class and Eagle Hill's Catrina placed 1st in Juvenile Female White Younger class and went on to win Reserve Colour Champion White Female. We are looking forward his 2009 crias.
UPDATE:Every Chipper cria we own has now ribboned. We are very proud to own this incredible male.
Chipper placed 4th out of 21 entries in Get of Sire at the largest show in Canada. The judge commented that we had really accomplished something to be proud of, placing in the top 4 with the only coloured animals, including a black, also that they were by far the finest coloured animals in the class.
UPDATE: HE DOES IT AGAIN!! Again Chipper takes 3rd in Get Of Sire with the only group with all coloured animals. We are super happy with Chippers constant production of high quality coloured offspring.
Dam:
DPO Luna
|
Luna is a large white girl with perfect confirmation and bite. She is a Shaman daughter and has Cperuvian Daniel 111 and Peruvian Lollipop for grandparents. She was only shown once and placed a respectable 2nd place at the AO Show in Orangeville. We were thrilled with Luna's 1st cria as she is lovely and dark brown, proving Luna's ability to throw colour. Fleur placed 4th in the brown yearling class this past Nov. at the Futurity. Luna gave birth to another female, this time med. fawn, sired by Misty Water's Chipper. Bella has incredible rich colour and beatiful crimp style, something Chipper puts on all his babies. We liked her so much that we immediately rebred Luna to Chip for 2010 cria, this should be another beautiful cria.
UPDATE: Both of Luna's two female crias have now ribboned, Luna continues to produce show quality coloured offspring.
SEPT 15, 2010 We saved the best for last. Luna delivers her first male out of Chipper and what a boy he is. This boy is tall, curls and crimp everywhere!!!! , we thought Bella was nice, this little stud is sure to impress.

Smo was the last cria of our 2010 cria season. Not only is he full sister to Bella, who has won many firsts but is the total fleece package. He exhibits an excellent crimp style, fineness, handle, lack of guard hair, and density. He has a nice square little frame, and what a head! Super cute. Smo is very calm and well mannered, put all this together and you can see why he was such a crowd favourite at the Navan fair, allowing many kids to pet him all throughout the day.
UPDATE: Smo Wins 1st!!!!!!!!! At the 2011 Navan Fair Smo won a "very well deserved 1st place" in the juvenile male fawn class.
